Blast, I just wrote a comment and hit Post Comment, but forgot to fill in my name and email. Anyway, Mabeloos, I am a flickr contact of yours (I asked you to post a picture with all the things packed into your bag) and today I am looking at your blog for the first time. Your writing is excellent. This post about work inspired me to comment; you seem wise beyond your years. I think the things you expressed are felt by many people. It reminds me a little of a line in a song by The Doors, "Trade in your hours for a handful of dimes..." It is sung with cynical rage by Jim Morrison. I have felt that at many jobs. I have finally learned that you CAN say no. You almost HAVE to say no, to draw a line. Your mental health is worth it! Here is what I did: I pushed back a little, then, seeing that I wasn't fired, pushed back a little more. I set my boundaries and work on keeping them. I appreciate the words and images you put out here on the internet...--Erin
